Denver-based Asian street food joint The Ginger Pig plans to open a new location on The Hill later this year.

The Nichols Partnership's Hill Hotel and the Limelight Hotel & Conference Center are being built at the intersection of University Ave. & Broadway St. Both set to be open by 2025, the two projects will bring year-round business and activity to the University Hill district.

Boulder's University Hill district, located just northwest of the University of Colorado Boulder campus, has a rich history dating back to the late 19th century.

Tulagi, a music venue in Boulder's University Hill district, was known for its rock and roll scene from the 1960s to the 1970s. It hosted many famous bands and musicians, including the Eagles, the Doobie Brothers, Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raitt, ZZ Top, and Miles Davis, until it was converted into commercial rental space in 2003.

In the summers of 2020 and 2021, we hosted an outdoor live music series on the Hill Event Street.
