Live Music Returns to The Hill

The Hill Boulder Merchant Association brought live music back to the Hill Event Street in the summers of 2020 and 2021 with their outdoor event series, Live from The Hill.

During the covid-19 pandemic, The Hill Event Street was closed to vehicle traffic and transformed into a socially distanced outdoor venue for weekly live performances. Musicians and poets took the stage, providing entertainment for Boulderites and visitors alike. The music could also be enjoyed from the patios of nearby restaurants, The Sink, Cafe Aion, and Sushi Hana.

In addition to supporting artists during a time when indoor venues were closed, Live from The Hill also offered at-home options for those who wanted to enjoy art from the comfort of their own homes. The event series sponsored a group of local artists to create a digital zine, giving community members the chance to experience art in a new way.

Live from The Hill was a welcome addition to the Boulder community during a difficult time, bringing joy and entertainment to residents and visitors alike.
