Nick Ryan Gallery Coming Soon to The Hill

Boulder, Colorado - Nick Ryan Gallery is excited to announce its grand opening, introducing a new contemporary art space to Colorado. Situated on The Hill in Boulder, Nick Ryan Gallery aims to become a leading commercial gallery, representing renowned regional and national artists, as well as emerging artists of exceptional talent. The gallery promises to engage art enthusiasts and collectors with compelling exhibitions, innovative programming, and a dedication to encouraging artistic dialogue within the community. 

Owner, Nick Ryan, comes with over two decades of experience managing some of Colorado’s top  galleries and a BFA in Painting from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Ryan feels that an exhibition gallery with a high caliber roster and innovative programming is long overdue for a setting as unique and beautiful as the City of Boulder. “I’ve had the privilege of being immersed in Denver’s art scene, representing and promoting incredible artists for the past 19 years, and I welcome the opportunity to  bring my experience and vision to Boulder.” 

Nick Ryan Gallery’s inaugural exhibition, Polyphony, a solo exhibition by the incomparable Bruce Price, opens on Thursday, May 16, 2024, with a reception from 6-9 pm. Polyphony will include work from various series spanning Price’s distinguished career. Additionally, Bruce Price will host an artist’s talk at 12 pm on Saturday, June 15th. The exhibition will remain on view through June 22, 2024. 

Bruce Price is an artist based in Denver, CO. He is the former Director of the Institute for Experimental Studies and founding resident advisor at Redline/Denver. Price holds a BFA in painting from Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design and an MFA in interdisciplinary studies from Maine College of Art. With 20 years of experience teaching foundations and fine arts in higher education, Price brings  an extensive exhibition history, including solo exhibitions in New York and Denver, as well as a solo  exhibition at the Denver Art Museum. Price’s work has been collected internationally, with pieces in  several museum collections.
