Pickin’ On The Dead brings a fresh, Rocky Mountain twist to the Grateful Dead’s legacy. Born from jam sessions at WinterWonderGrass Festival and river expeditions through Dinosaur National Monument, this group delivers high-energy performances that blend bluegrass virtuosity with psychedelic improvisation.
The lineup features National Flatpicking Champion Tyler Grant on guitar, bassist Ace Engfer, drummer Sean “Magic” Macaulay, mandolinist Michael Kirkpatrick, and keyboardist Bill McKay. Together, they share lead and harmony vocals, creating a dynamic and immersive musical experience.
Whether you're a die-hard Deadhead or new to the scene, this show promises a night of spirited jams and communal vibes.
