CU is hosting a virtual Social Justice Summit on January 31. The event is open to community members and features keynote speaker Bettina Love, a leading anti-racism and education reform author and scholar.

The University of Colorado Social Justice Summit aspires to ignite critical engagement and responsibility for cultivating and sustaining a diverse democracy. This year's theme, Operationalizing Liberation for a Diverse Democracy, is a call to disrupt behaviors and oppressive actions, structures and systems preventing our collective liberation as engaged citizens. Liberation––or the act of gaining freedom from oppression––depends on each of us working in community to learn and hold each other accountable if we are to build a more just world.
